Terms
Terms and conditions.
These terms explain how reservations, confirmations, payments, vouchers and the responsibilities of both parties work when you book a Tenerife experience through Booking Excursion.
1. Who we are
Booking Excursion ("we", "us") is operated by Tommaso Morelli (autónomo), tax ID Z2871604J, with registered office at Calle Zanata 10, 30630 Arona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.
We help travellers discover and reserve selected excursions and activities in Tenerife. Most activities are operated by independent local providers ("operators"). We act as an intermediary and customer-care contact, but the activity itself is delivered by the operator.
2. Booking a reservation
A reservation request is not final until we (or the operator) confirm exact availability for the selected date, time and group size. The status is shown to you in your reservation page at all times.
For activities that require operator confirmation, we may place a temporary authorisation on your card before final confirmation. This does not capture money — it only reserves the amount. The actual charge is captured only after the reservation is confirmed.
3. Prices, taxes and currency
All prices on the site are shown in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes for the Canary Islands (IGIC) where relevant. Some prices may be displayed as "from" — the final price for your dates, group size and options is shown before payment.
Bank-side currency conversion costs from your issuer, if any, are not included.
4. Payment authorisation and capture
Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. We do not see or store your full card number.
For activities sold through the standard flow, your card is authorised at the time of booking and captured once the operator confirms. If the operator cannot confirm, the authorisation is released.
For some bespoke bookings (split payments, deposits, custom checkouts) the rules above may differ; the specific terms are shown to you in the checkout step before confirmation.
5. Vouchers and meeting points
Once confirmed and paid, your voucher is sent by email to the address you provided. The digital voucher on your phone is fully valid; a printed copy is optional and can be collected at our Palm-Mar office on request.
You may be asked to show the voucher, reservation code or a valid ID at the meeting point. Some activities have age, height, weight, health or licence requirements stated in the experience page — please check before booking and arrive on time.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact details, to confirm that the activity is suitable for every member of your group (including age, health and mobility), to follow safety instructions given by the operator, and to be punctual at the meeting point.
Activities involving sea, mountain, motorised vehicles or alcohol consumption are subject to operator-specific rules and to applicable Spanish law.
7. Right of withdrawal — exclusion for date-specific services
Under article 103.l) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (RDL 1/2007), which transposes Directive 2011/83/EU, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does NOT apply to leisure services contracted for a specific date or period of performance, including the excursions and activities sold on this site.
Cancellations are therefore governed by our cancellation policy and by the specific terms of each experience and operator.
8. Cancellations and changes
Cancellations and date changes are handled according to our cancellation policy, available at /cancellation-policy/. Some experiences may have stricter operator-specific terms shown on the experience page before checkout.
Where the operator cancels for reasons of weather, safety or operational necessity, we offer either rescheduling at no extra cost or a full refund of amounts captured.
9. Force majeure and operator decisions
We are not liable for delays, modifications or cancellations caused by force majeure (weather, sea conditions, port or airport closures, traffic, natural events, strikes, public authority decisions) or by operator safety judgement.
10. Liability
As intermediary, we are responsible for handling reservations, communications, payments and vouchers correctly. We are not directly responsible for the operational delivery of an activity by a third-party operator. Each operator carries the civil-liability insurance required by Spanish tourism regulations for the activity it runs.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence or rights that cannot be waived under Spanish consumer law.
11. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumer disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of the consumer’s domicile. EU residents may also use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
For complaints, please first contact us at the address below — we want to fix issues fast and fairly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with the "Last updated" date below. Reservations are governed by the terms in force at the time you confirmed your booking.
